Proverbs - Chapter A Day In July

Let's read Proverbs together in July

In case you missed it, on Sunday we announced that there will be a church-wide Bible reading plan for the month of July. Each day, we will read a single chapter of the book of Proverbs. Thirty-one chapters in thirty-one days. By the end of July, we will have read through the whole book together.

As we begin this Wednesday, July 1, we want to take just a moment and encourage you all to take part in this time of seeking the Lord through His Word. Many of you have established devotion times and already are working through reading the Scripture, and that's great! We want to assure you that this is not meant to be a replacement, but rather an addition to it. The local body of Christ reading and praying through the Proverbs together. If you struggle to find a way to consistently spend time in the Scripture, then let this be a means of aiding you into making Scripture reading a more consistent part of your life.

To help in the reading, Pastors Brian and Jonathan will provide a daily devotion that will correspond with the days reading. They will be delivered right into your email each day.

As we are striving to be unified in our mission of making disciples who Know, Grow, and Go, our prayer is that this time of reading and meditation as a church family will unite us not only in purpose but also passion. The Scriptures are the primary way in which God speaks to the church. Therefore, let us be passionate about pursuing and hearing from the Lord. Trusting in His guidance and direction and sovereignty to lead us into deeper intimacy with Himself and, thereby, unity with one another.

We hope you will make plans to join us as we read a chapter of Proverbs each day in July.
